Demarron Berkley's practice focuses on intellectual property and complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts. As a result of spending years as a computer engineer and then as a patent prosecutor for a large IP boutique, he brings technical depth to patent litigation matters in a wide range of fields, including electronics, digital signal processing, telecommunications, software, and networking.
Demarron began his legal career as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Charles R. Wilson of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, helping the judge adjudicate a sizeable civil, criminal, and administrative law docket. The judgment gained during his clerkship experience forms the core of his results-oriented litigation approach.
Before law, Demarron spent time as an engineer in Lockheed Martin's highly selective Leadership Development Program, and as a Senior Technical Analyst for FedEx. He also occasionally moonlighted at a local college teaching Java programming classes.
