Michael K. Hurst is a widely recognized trial lawyer in Texas, particularly in complex commercial and employment litigation. He has extensive courtroom experience and has litigated and tried numerous cases, including breach of contract, fraud, theft of trade secrets, non-compete agreements, oil and gas, employment discrimination, tortious interference, and breach of fiduciary duty. Michael is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He serves as outside litigation and corporate counsel for several small and medium sized companies, and provides business and litigation counseling, including analysis of corporate policies. He has been recognized every year by his peers in Texas Monthly and Law & Politics magazines as a “Super Lawyer,” including being named one of the Top 100 Lawyers in Texas in 2005 and 2006. Michael was twice named previously by D Magazine as one of the “Best Lawyers Under 40,” and was named the Outstanding Young Lawyer by both the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers and the Texas Young Lawyers Association. He was recently named one of the top 15 Business Defenders by the Dallas Business Journal.
James G. Herblin has over 25 years experience in accounting. Today, he focuses his attention on providing business valuation services, forensic and fraud accounting, litigation support, audit, accounting and tax, and business consulting services through his firm, Herblin, P.C. He has vast experience assisting commercial litigators in performing damage calculations, obtaining the evidence necessary to prove damages, and testifying as an expert in depositions and at trial.
