 OverviewIn addition to nearly fifteen years of experience as a private attorney, Rudy Rodriguez has the unique perspective gained from having served as general counsel of a major regional airline in the Dallas area. Rudy’s in-house experience has made him especially attentive to his clients’ interests and expectations as he analyzes problems and seeks to resolve them.
Rudy has extensive experience as a business litigator, and has represented clients in state and federal court as well as arbitration. He has also represented clients in many aspects of real estate litigation including representation of developers, owners, and landlords with regard to foreclosures, contractor disputes, deed restrictions, and lease disputes.
Rudy also has significant experience in employment law, including advice and counsel, training, policy formulation, the defense of employment discrimination litigation in state and federal court, and representation of clients involved in disputes regarding covenants not to compete.

- Defended client in arbitration over allegations of misappropriation of trade secrets and breach of fiduciary duty by securities brokers in connection with their change of employers
- Defended client in trial involving claims of violations of state and federal disability discrimination statutes and common law in Texas state district court
- Obtained summary judgments for defendant in lawsuits alleging violations of ADA, Title VII (race, sex, and religious discrimination), ADEA, and Texas common law
- Extensive experience with analysis and litigation of noncompetition covenants in both state and federal court
- Assisted with employment policy formulation and training
- Provided advice and counsel on employee issues and threatened litigation
Commercial Litigation
- Extensive experience with cases involving claims of breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, negligent misrepresentation and other business torts
- Defended client in jury trial in state court involving claims of fraud, negligence, gross negligence, and negligent supervision
- Obtained summary judgment for client in case involving alleged boycott and conspiracy in violation of federal antitrust laws
- Represented brokerage firms in litigation and arbitration of customer claims
- Represented client in defense of proceedings alleging violations of federal aviation regulations
