Diana Cochrane

Diana Cochrane practices business litigation in state and federal courts. She has represented individuals, small businesses, large corporations, and law firms. Diana’s litigation experience includes representing both plaintiffs and defendants in matters involving claims of breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, breach of contract, legal malpractice, theft of trade secrets, tortious interference, securities fraud, and employment discrimination.

Diana is also a Texas-certified educator and has seven years’ experience teaching literature and writing in public schools.

• Successfully defended real estate holding company in day-long bench trial involving complex evidentiary issues.
• Argued and successfully defeated summary judgment.
• Obtained favorable settlement of breach of contract case involving former partner with leading consulting firm.
• Obtained injunctive relief for protection of trade secrets.
• Litigation planning and strategy, including drafting of petitions and complaints, preparation and responses to written discovery, handling electronic discovery issues, motion briefing, mediation, and preparation of witnesses for deposition and trial testimony.
