Christopher J. Simmons

Christopher J. Simmons has significant litigation and trial experience representing clients in complex commercial litigation, multi-state products liability litigation, and complex tort litigation. Christopher has represented plaintiffs and defendants in cases involving breach of contract, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, tortious interference, and deceptive trade practices claims. In addition to his litigation experience, Christopher has significant trial experience and has tried cases throughout the state of Texas.

• Represented Dallas-based boutique investment banking firm in litigation involving breach of contract, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, negligence, and negligent misrepresentation claims arising from the sale of a business.
• Represented officer of North Texas oil company in litigation involving claims for breach of contract, tortious interference and securities fraud.
• Represented Dallas-based professional employer organization (PEO) in arbitration proceeding before the American Arbitration Association involving breach of contract claims.
• Represented large, multi-state real estate company in litigation involving breach of contract claims. Successfully defended a case at trial before a Dallas jury and obtained a complete defense verdict for client.
• Represented South Texas oilfield product manufacturer in breach of contract, conversion, and civil conspiracy litigation.
• Represented South Texas oilfield product manufacturer in defense of a product defect/wrongful death claim. Assisted in securing a complete defense verdict at trial.
